Papillons are a very cool breed.  They supply you with the best of all worlds, the size of a pocket dog, the beauty and grace of any "high fashion" breed, the energy and ability of a large dog but none of the fuss of any of these!  One would almost say they are a perfect breed... But they aren't for everyone.  That long, silky fur does need to be taken care of, the energy level can be maddening at times and if all Paps are like our two, you can worry yourself silly when they decide to take a nap. 

You see, they both sleep so hard that they don't wake up like a normal dog does.  Marc had a heart attack the day he thought Mars was dead.  Have you ever shaken a dog and not have them jump right up?  It was something else!  Then comes in little Venus and she has a way of finding out of the way places none of the Chihuahuas have ever been to sleep.  And she won't wake up when you search the house calling her name!

We'll probably have to devote pages just to the interesting Papillon stories...come to think of it, look for them in the future - it's a must!
